Dr. Kara Iribarren PT, DPT
Northwest Health
Kara (she/her) graduated from UAMS in Fayetteville, AR with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021. She pursued PT school later in life after birthing 3 children and discovering the amazing world of pelvic therapy. Kara has always had a passion for working with women and helping them to achieve optimal health. Her clinical focus includes nutrition, hormone balance, dry needling and myofascial release to help the body achieve this optimal state while building strength. She is certified to perform internal and external pelvic floor exams by Herman and Wallace and is in the process of earning a specialist certification in pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise through Core Exercise Solutions. Kara also has a specific passion for working with the LGBTQIA community and treats patients of all genders. She treats various pelvic health imbalances including but not limited to: urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, painful intercourse, painful menstruation, interstitial cystitis, prolapse, endometriosis, pre and post prostatectomy, pre and post gender affirming surgery, frequent urination, IBS, constipation, hip pain, and DRA. Kara currently practices at Northwest Rehab and Wellness in Springdale, AR. She also has a private practice offering home visits for physical therapy and virtual visits for health coaching.
