Dr. Nura Mariscal del Moral (she/they) is a pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapist with a passion for providing holistic care for all genders and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for every patient. She cares deeply about improving the quality of life for her patients and helps her patients work toward autonomy by providing tools that they can use in their day-to-day life. Nura treats a variety of orthopedic and pelvic health conditions including pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, and sexual dysfunction. Nura earned her Bachelor of Science from The College of William and Mary and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University. She has completed research on pelvic health and co-published her abstract, Reporting Lumbopelvic Pain during Pregnancy, in the Journal of Women’s Health Physical Therapy and presented her research at the 2021 Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Nura has postgraduate training in pelvic floor physical therapy through Herman & Wallace and is working towards earning a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification. In her spare time, Nura enjoys cooking, lifting, yoga, hiking with her dog, music, and travel.
