Ellen Roesler has been practicing physical therapy in West Michigan for 5 years. Ellen has completed all core coursework through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and has done extra training in pregnancy and postpartum management. In addition she is trained in mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine through the McKenzie Institute, and is certified in LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s Disease and related neurological conditions. Ellen is the director of The Center’s Homebodies program, a unique mobile service allowing her to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of postpartum patients in the comfort of their own home. She knows that making appointments and traveling with newborns and toddlers can be difficult and this program allows people without readily available childcare to still receive vital postpartum care and reduce the incidence of injury, leakage, prolapse or other pelvic floor dysfunction in the future. Ellen treats women with pelvic pain, urinary urgency, leakage with activity, bowel concerns, abdominal pain, and all peripartum concerns. The Center for Physical Rehabilitation offers a conservative, holistic approach to treating all pelvic health concerns. Our goal is to educate patients as to why they are experiencing symptoms and how to train and coordinate the entire body system to work together to alleviate future pain and discomfort. To learn more contact (616) 249-0750 or pt-cpr.com to schedule an evaluation with Ellen at our Byron Center location or through the Homebodies program.
