Shelley is a graduate of Michigan State University, received her Doctor in Physical Therapy degree from Army-Baylor University in 2007 and was board certified a an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2011. She spent 14 years on active duty in the U.S. Army, ten of which she worked as a Physical Therapist in Texas and overseas while deployed to Afghanistan. She started her career with a clinical focus on military and tactical athlete rehabilitation and return to duty, but now splits her time between orthopaedic and pelvic health concerns including bladder/bowel urgency/leaking and chronic pelvic pain.
