Spardha Sharma is a dedicated Physical Therapist with a journey rooted in a profound commitment to promoting wellness. Since embarking on her career in 2006, Spardha has become a seasoned professional specializing in orthopedic and sports injuries. Graduating with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy from Manipal University in India in 2006, Spardha's educational pursuits led her to a Master's in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University, CA, in 2008. Her journey as a licensed Physical Therapist has been multifaceted, encompassing roles in inpatient acute and sub-acute care, where she honed her expertise in skin and wound care, earning the Wound Care Certification (WCC) and excelling as a certified Clinical Instructor. Transitioning into outpatient orthopedic rehab over the past decade, Spardha has continually elevated her skills. She holds certifications in Dry Needling (CDN), Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT), and Spinal Manipulative therapy (SMT). She is currently on a transformative path, pursuing a Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) at Andrews University, MI, with an anticipated graduation in 2024. Delving into her passion for orthopedics, Spardha is also an Orthopedic Fellow in Training at the ASPIRE Orthopedic Manual Therapy Institute. Beyond orthopedics, Spardha brings expertise in treating pelvic floor dysfunction for both women and men and has received advanced training from Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Institute. Her holistic approach to healthcare extends beyond the clinic, as she ardently believes in the significance of a healthy lifestyle, proper movement, and nutrition for her patients. In her leisure moments, Spardha is not just a healthcare professional; she's an avid marathon and triathlon enthusiast, an event organizer, and an advocate for an active lifestyle. She enjoys hiking, embarking on outdoor adventures with her family, coaching soccer and kids' sports, and exploring new destinations.
