Anna Evans, PT, DPT, PCES
Elite Physical Therapy - Starkville and Columbus locations

Anna grew up in Lakeland, Tennessee, just outside of Memphis. She attended Mississippi State University receiving a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology. She then returned to Memphis to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. One reason she chose to pursue a career in physical therapy is the opportunity for deep relationships that physical therapists can build with their patients. Through physical therapy conferences and PT school classes, Anna became more interested in pelvic health. She observed how this setting changed people’s lives and gave them hope that their symptoms could be resolved even after decades. The pelvic health specialty of physical therapy gives Anna an opportunity to listen to patients, validate and encourage them, and build trusting relationships, all while providing physical healing and restoration. She enjoys treating a variety of patients including pregnant and postpartum women, athletes, patients with pelvic pain, males and females with bowel or bladder dysfunction, and so much more. When not working, you’ll find Anna traveling, spending time outside, and exercising, but her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and daughter.
