Revive Physical Therapy & Wellness
Katherine earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Illinois University in 2016. After graduating, she spent several years in outpatient orthopedics treating pediatric through geriatric clients; all while learning new treatment skills and techniques for all my patients. She expanded her training into Women’s Health and pelvic floor dysfunction under the Herman and Wallace Rehabilitation Institute; treating pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, incontinence, diastasis recti, sacral/coccyx dysfunction, and more. She helps women during pregnancy and postpartum recovery as well as into perimenopause and menopause. She is presently a mobile, concierge practitioner serving Elgin, IL as well as surrounding suburbs including but not limited to; South Elgin, Dundee, Carpentersville, Algonquin, Hampshire, Geneva, Saint Charles, Bartlett. Also available for virtual consults and appointments. Other credentials include: certified manual physical therapist, certified in 3D movement analysis and applied functional science, trained in IASTM, fascial flossing, cupping, kinesiotaping and blood flow restriction training. She started as a dance medicine specialist focusing on rehab and injury prevention for dancers, gymnasts, tumblers, cheer, and skaters. In 2019, she became a certified Tai Chi instructor for Arthritis and Fall Prevention forms via Dr. Paul Lam’s Health Institute with the purpose of empowering people to improve their health and wellness through Tai Chi for Health programs.
