Karin Bertulis, PT, MPT, PRPC, DN cert. graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. She attended Governor’s State University and graduated with honors with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Karin has over 25 years of experience in Orthopedics, Pelvic Rehabilitation, and Obstetric Rehabilitation. Karin has attended and participated as a teacher’s assistant in many courses through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and passed a comprehensive exam to receive her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification in April 2014. She also completed her Dry Needling certification from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy in July of 2021 for the treatment of pelvic pain. Karin joined IMPACT Physical Therapy in Naperville to specialize in Women’s Pelvic Health. She treats a wide range of pelvic floor conditions such as urinary/ fecal incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, dyssynergic defecation, osteoporosis, constipation, SI dysfunction, painful bladder syndrome, and obstetric low back pain. On a personal note, Karin is married and has two adult children. She enjoys yoga, pilates, hiking, golf, pickle ball, traveling, and reading.
