Judith Meer, PT, DPT, PRPC, CSCS
The Pelvic PT
Dr. Meer received her B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College and went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at New York University (NYU). Several years after graduation, she found her passion in pelvic floor physical therapy. She treats a wide variety of pelvic floor and post-operative conditions across the gender spectrum, including post-prostatectomy and hysterectomy issues, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, prolapse, bowel and bladder incontinence and leakage, diastasis recti, and various pain conditions. Collaborative and compassionate care are the hallmarks of her practice. Dr. Meer especially enjoys helping pregnant and postpartum moms navigate the world of issues “down there” by giving them the knowledge and tools they need to tackle any bowel, bladder or sex-related problems they may be dealing with prior to or after delivery. Dr. Meer is a firm believer in life-long learning, and carves out time throughout the year to attend conferences, take continuing education courses, and stay up-to-date on new research in the field. In this way, she can provide the best possible care to her patients. She has taken extensive coursework in pelvic health topics through the renowned Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and The Academy of Pelvic Health of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). As her schedule permits, she mentors newer clinicians and assists in teaching various Herman and Wallace courses, and greatly enjoys helping guide the next generation of pelvic health therapists. Dr. Meer has been a member of the APTA since 2012, is a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She has also been a Wilderness First Responder (WFR), a self-defense (Krav Maga) instructor, and a licensed New York State outdoor guide. She is actively part of the Vermont Birth Network and volunteers with Vermont’s Age Well Program. ***NOTE: Dr. Judith Meer operates clinics both in Burlington, Vermont and in Hoboken, New Jersey. She is also one of the few practitioners who offers VIP care for high-profile clientele on the Eastern Seaboard.***
