Brittni Bukacek PT, DPT
Tosa PT and Wellness
My journey into specialized physical therapy began with a foundation in high-performance movement. While competing as an NCAA Division 1 cross-country and track athlete at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, I developed a deep appreciation for the body’s resilience and complexity. I love working with athletes of all ages, abilities, aches and pains. After earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UW-Milwaukee in 2016, I spent several years treating medically complex patients in ICU settings—an experience that sharpened my clinical skills in the most high-stakes environments. However, it was my own preparation for the birth of my son that truly transformed my career. Navigating the world of pelvic health firsthand ignited a passion to help others understand this vital, yet often overlooked, aspect of well-being. Today, I combine my background in kinesiology and intensive care with specialized training from the Myopain (dry needling), Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, American Physical Therapy Association, Thoracic Ring Approach and Corrective Exercise Solutions (Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist 3.0). I am dedicated to providing the most current evidence-based, trauma-informed care for patients of all genders and ages. Whether you are suffering from chronic pain, navigating muscular changes following huge hormone shifts, with goals to return to high-level running, I am here to help you bridge the gap between "healing" and truly thriving.
