Madison Engel, PT, DPT, COMT EMME Physio & Wellness
My interest in physical therapy began as a gymnast recovering from multiple orthopedic injuries. At that time, I experienced the physical and psychological impact of high-quality, holistic care. I strive to offer that same type of individualized care to my patients. I received my Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science from Seattle University in 2017, during which time I worked as an ACE-certified personal trainer and mat Pilates instructor, gaining valuable experience in exercise prescription. I went on to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University in 2021, where I developed a passion for pelvic health and completed Level 1 & 2 Pelvic Health training through the Providence Institute of Practice, Education, & Research. After earning my Doctorate, I pursued Aspire’s year-long Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and additional training in Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute. My integrative approach allows me to provide care through a unique lens. I believe the body keeps the score and directly influences how we move through the world. Inclusive care addresses not only how you show up in my office today, but the story you believe about your body. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have special understanding for how external forces impact our day to day experiences. I strive to create a safe space for all patients with respect for their background and orientation.
