Soft Power Pelvic Health
I’m Dr. Rebs (they/them/she/her), a pelvic floor and chronic pain specialist with interest and expertise in working with people of all gender identities, all sexualities, and across the anatomical and neurologic spectrums. I’m not just queer & trans friendly, fat friendly, and sex worker friendly; I have competence in treating folks with a variety of identities and expressions and want to honor your unique experience. You will never be expected to educate me on how to be respectful around people with diverse bodies, identities, neurotypes, or preferences. I have my own long history of pelvic floor symptoms and chronic conditions and find it quite intuitive to work with patients who have had similar life experiences. I have completed years of research and education specifically in this realm and understand how to safely work with folks to help relieve symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction and decrease pain anywhere in the body. I also use Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) techniques and manual therapy as a way to mitigate nervous system upregulation and help teach your brain to use sensory experiences in a therapeutic way.
