Megan McClary, PT, DPT, OCS
Pivot Physical Therapy, an Athletico company
Hello! My name is Megan McClary, PT, DPT, OCS. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology as well as my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Misericordia University in Dallas, PA. I am an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. I also hold Level 1, Level 2B, and Level C certifications in adult pelvic floor function, dysfunction, and treatment through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. This certifies me to perform vaginal and/or rectal assessments if deemed necessary. My areas of education and intervention include but are not limited to urinary dysfunction, biofeedback and electrical stimulation, post prostatectomy rehab, penile/scrotal pain, pelvic organ prolapse, vulvar pain, dyspareunia, vaginismus, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis, PCOS, prenatal and postpartum dysfunction, and diastasis recti. I have training in myofascial release as well as visceral mobilization of the reproductive and urinary systems. My treatment model is based on a mix of full-body therapeutic exercises as well as hands-on interventions with a holistic mindset. Treatments may include mindfulness techniques and breath control during exercise for anxiety reduction as appropriate. My favorite area to treat is chronic pelvic pain disorders with the goal to reduce symptoms and empower my patients to achieve a better quality of life through a multimodal approach.
