Daphna has been practicing as a physical therapist for over 20 years. For the past 10 years, she has dedicated herself to Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, finding physical therapy treatments in this area to be incredibly effective and life changing. She treats women of all ages for urinary incontinence (stress, urge and mixed) and fecal incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, coccyx pain, sciatic pain, interstitial cystitis and endometriosis, pudendal neuralgia, pregnant women with incontinence or pain or wanting to prepare for delivery, as well as postpartum women, and those with vulvodynia, and dyspareunia. She believes strongly in evidence based treatments and providing excellent, patient-centric care. She is sensitive and caring and makes everyone feel at ease. She holds dual board certifications as both a Women's Health Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Daphna developed the Pelvic Physical Therapy Program for the Alta Bates Summit Women's Health Center where she worked as lead therapist for 8 years before opening up her own practice. She has also served as a physical therapy instructor for The Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Daphna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Women's Health Section, International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS). and International Continence Society.
