Director of Mathis Pelvic Rehabilitation, Doctor of Physical Therapy Driven by a passion for restoring quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based care, Dr. Lora Seacat, PT, DPT is a leading specialist in pelvic health and chronic pain rehabilitation. As Director of Mathis Pelvic Rehabilitation, she is recognized for her integrative approach that blends advanced scientific clinical training with a deep commitment to her art of individualized, whole-person care. A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Lora earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Shenandoah University, quickly establishing herself as a forward-thinking clinician with a talent for uncovering the “why” behind complex musculoskeletal and pelvic conditions. Lora joined Mathis Rehab in 2014 and spent six years in Emporia, KS before launching a specialized pelvic health program in Manhattan/Junction City. There, she offers a rare and powerful combination of manual therapy expertise, therapeutic neuroscience, trauma informed care, and internal/external pelvic floor rehabilitation- treating conditions related to bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction with both skill and sensitivity. Her clinical interests are rooted in the intersection of chronic pain, lumbopelvic dysfunction, and mind-body healing. She is particularly known for her ability to help patients who have “tried everything else,” using a multidisciplinary approach that targets not only physical symptoms but the neurological and emotional layers of pain. Lora’s advanced certifications include: Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT): International Spine and Pain Institute Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT): Dry needling training with a myofascial approach with Myopain Seminars and neurologic approach with Integrative Dry Needling Institute ASTYM® Certification – A regenerative therapy for soft tissue and movement restoration Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute (PRPC): Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certified- Extensive internal/external pelvic health training MindBody Training: Addressing emotional stress that may manifest as physical pain or tension. Creating personalized treatment plans that consider both physical limitations and psychological needs Whether helping someone reclaim their strength after childbirth or guiding a patient through the complexities of chronic pelvic pain, Lora’s approach is always personal, empowering, and rooted in clinical excellence. Outside of clinical practice, Lora is a teaching assistant with the Herman and Wallace Institute teaching other health professionals her passion for pelvic health. Lora is the Kansas State Representative for the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health and excited to be a resource to educate fellow colleagues, PT/PTA students, and health professionals. Outside the clinic, Lora is a lifelong learner and active adventurer. She enjoys running and cycling with her family, baking from scratch, getting lost in a good book, and traveling anywhere that offers new experiences and perspectives.
