Eva graduated Summa Cum Laude from CUNY College of Staten Island School of Physical Therapy in 2020 after graduating Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from CUNY Hunter College. Her interest in women’s health physical therapy began in graduate school. Shortly thereafter, she obtained her Herman & Wallace level 1 and 2A certification (treatment and assessment of pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, urinary incontinence, chronic constipation, dyspareunia, vaginismus, endometriosis, pelvic girdle pain, sacroiliac joint pain, vulvodynia, pubic symphysis dysfunction, post-prostatectomy, fecal incontinence). During the course of her training, her clinical rotations included an acute bedside (hospital) setting, orthopedic outpatient settings, and a pelvic floor practice specializing in postpartum health. She has spent time shadowing physical therapists, volunteering in rehabilitation departments in hospitals and outpatient clinics, and keeps up to date with research through podcasts and professional journals. Her patients compliment her on her patience, compassion, motivation, ability to educate and guide them through common and complex conditions. Working with people from all life stages, she has identified a necessity for these services. Her mission is to contribute to the growth and standardization of women’s health physical therapy, help women feel their best throughout every life stage, and to educate and empower individuals to take control of their health and wellbeing. Combining her generalist physical therapy training, passion for learning and commitment to keeping up with evidence-based research, Eva strives to provide a full-body and holistic perspective when treating conditions afflicting the pelvic floor.
