Ashton Hicks, PT, DPT KORT - Bardstown
Ashton has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky and graduated in 2012. She began her career working in an inpatient rehab setting with a focus on neurological injuries. After becoming a mother, she develop a passion for pelvic health physical therapy. She enjoys helping women maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout pregnancy, assisting women to appropriately return to their desired activities postpartum especially working with the postpartum athlete and educating/bringing awareness to the pelvic floor and all the potential issues that can develop throughout a women's lifetime. She completed her pelvic health training through Herman & Wallace and is currently working on her Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist Certification. Common conditions she treats (but not limited to) are urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy related pain, postpartum recovery, pelvic organ prolapse, dyspareunia (painful intercourse) and orthopedic pain with a pelvic floor component.
