Amanda Moe, PT, DPT, PRPC COM-Physical Therapy
Amanda Moe specifically treats women, men, and children with disorders of the pelvis and pelvic girdle. She has specialized and practiced pelvic health physical therapy exclusively since 2012. Amanda earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) in 2015 to distinguish herself as a highly qualified and specialized practitioner in the field of pelvic health. Dr. Amanda Moe has worked in both the in-patient and out-patient setting of a prominent Women's/Birthing hospital in Houston Tx. There she gained experience treating a variety of conditions such as bowel/bladder dysfunction (ie urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, constipation), pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, sacroiliac dysfunction, pubic symphysis dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, and peripartum conditions. While working at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX , Amanda assisted with the development and expansion of the pediatric pelvic physical therapy program treating children with a variety of diagnoses such as: bowel and bladder dysfunction, constipation, encopresis, coccydynia, abdominal/groin pain, as well as other disorders related to the pelvic girdle. Amanda is also highly trained and skilled in treating males with pelvic related dysfunction and is the ONLY Pelvic PT in Midland with advanced specialty certification for treating Men with disorders of the pelvis. This includes but is not limited to: bowel/bladder dysfunction, pelvic/genital pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sexual dysfunction. Amanda enjoys assistant teaching with the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in her free time as well as working out, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
