I am providing skilled pelvic floor physical therapy in a warm welcoming environment. I am providing the same compassionate care that you have known from me in the area for the last 13 years in a new location. I have opened Laskey Physical Therapy conveniently located on Elm Street in Topsham which is fully handicap accessible with convenient parking. I am offering highly skilled pelvic floor physical therapy to all genders with a wholistic view of the body. I trained for years after graduating from Physical Therapy school as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist with hundreds of hours of in person training all over the country before then expanding my skill set into pelvic floor physical therapy. I have taken every one of Herman and Wallace’s pelvic floor capstone courses. Herman and Wallace is the gold standard in pelvic floor physical therapy education. I also draw from a diverse tool kit of trigger point dry needling, Pilates teacher training, visceral manipulation and myofascial release. I am now able to offer hour long appointments to better serve patients. This gives more time for both hands on treatment to be able to improve biomechanics and muscle/soft tissue function as well as home exercise and patient education. I am treating people of all genders for pelvic floor dysfunction and the uncomfortable side effects including urinary incontinence, interstitial cystitis and painful bladder, pregnancy and post-partum related pain, pelvic pain, urinary frequency etc.. I look at the body as a whole. I also support patients in understanding their body heals and helping them trust themselves and their bodies on their own unique healing journeys. I am currently taking most private insurances.
