I graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2016. After I began my career in orthopedics where I became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). During this time, I treated the whole body with a special interest in the thoracic and lumbar spine as well as the hips. In 2018, I specialized into pelvic health and earned by CAPP-pelvic certification through the APTA. Finally, in 2021 I became a Board Certified Pelvic Health Clinical Specialist through the APTA. I am currently practicing out of Center for Sexual Medicine and Menopause and Center for Comprehensive Gynecology at Northwestern Medicine, where I primarily help patients with all pelvic dysfunctions related to menopause, endometriosis, fibroids, central pain syndrome, medical or sexual trauma, constipation, IBS, abdominal pains, vulvodynia, vaginismus, diminished or painful orgasm and other numerous conditions. I combine my knowledge of the pelvis with the orthopedic knowledge to create a holistic treatment of my patients and to help them find the root cause of their symptoms. Sessions always have extensive patient education so that you are left with understanding of what is going on, some manual therapy to decrease pains or facilitate good movement patterns, and you will have exercises to perform at home that will continue to progress treatment between sessions. When not treating, I enjoy presenting about pelvic floor dysfunction to the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapy.
