I graduated from Hampton University with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. I began working with Riverside immediately after graduation and have been here for almost 3 years. I have taken several pelvic floor courses through Herman and Wallace in order to help patients with pelvic pain, incontinence, colorectal dysfunction and prolapse. As a new mama myself, I have a passion for helping my perinatal patients - so before, during and after pregnancy! Many moms come to me and think that it is normal to have pelvic floor issues after pregnancy. While it is very common to have pelvic floor dysfunction after pregnancy, it is not “normal” and pelvic floor physical therapy can really help these patient improve their quality of life.
