I completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the Ohio State University. Prior to graduation, I completed Pelvic 1 through Herman and Wallace, then completed a specialized practicum in pelvic floor physical therapy through Cleveland Clinic Akron General. I completed Pelvic Floor Intervention Strategies for Urogenital and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Academy of Pelvic Health. I expanded my skill set to include treating male patients and better understand bowel and gastrointestinal contributions to pelvic floor dysfunction with Pelvic 2A through Herman and Wallace in April 2019. In July 2018, I officially started the pelvic floor physical therapy program with my previous employer, before moving to Cleveland Clinic in October 2019 to better develop my clinical skills and meet the needs of patients. In August of 2020, I earned my Certificate of Achievement in Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Therapy through the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health. In November 2020, I completed Pelvic 2B through Herman and Wallace to better address the needs of my patients with pelvic pain and/or prolapse. In 2021, I presented a poster case study at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting on male pelvic pain. In 2022, I was a teaching assistant for Herman and Wallace pelvic 1, took an intrapartum support course through the APTA, and attended the inaugural Pelvicon. In 2023, I expanded my skill set to include dry needling for pelvic health through Herman and Wallace, as well as, attended the second Pelvicon. I am passionate about pelvic health and hope to further my profession while always continuing to further develop my professional skills. My specialty area of focus is perinatal rehabilitation and preventative care--focused on optimizing birth outcomes and postpartum recovery.
