Amanda Regler, DPT Oasis PT and Pelvic Health
Dr. Mandy began her physical therapy journey by receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She has dedicated her career exclusively to pelvic health since 2011, providing the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction across the lifespan. She is competent in treating teens to geriatrics and specializes in the treatment of pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis, infertility, constipation, urinary and fecal incontinence, pregnancy, and post-partum, as well as clients with hypermobility. Dr. Mandy is known in the world of pelvic health for her strong patient rapport, guiding her clients through a significant amount of education, care and working with their specific goals and needs to address the whole person. After having her own two children, Dr. Mandy became increasingly interested in working with her pregnant clients that were seeking a vaginal delivery despite having a history of pelvic pain and dysfunction. With significant and unique coursework and Spinning Babies training, Dr. Mandy guides birthing people with pelvic pain or dysfunction through care during pregnancy, specific birthing guidance from breath, positioning, muscle release, joint mobility, and so forth for labor and birth, as well as pelvic floor aftercare. Dr. Mandy is serving clients at our Columbia and Bethesda locations, reaching clients across the Maryland area. When not working, Dr. Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and chickens, and is known for her contagious laugh.
