Amanda Stuart Physical Therapy

Amanda received her Bachelor of Science Degree at Sacred Heart University in 2013, completing her undergraduate career a year early through an accelerated program. Amanda then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in May of 2016. Amanda has spent the past four years specializing in pediatric and orthopedic conditions, treating a wide variety of diagnoses. Since graduating, Amanda received a certification to utilize Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and completed a course specialized in Muscle Energy techniques for the Pelvis and Sacrum. After finding great success with utilization of muscle energy at the pelvis, Amanda became further interested in the pelvic floor. Amanda has completed the Herman & Wallace series of intensive courses to treat Pelvic Floor Pain & Dysfunction including additional courses tailored to myofascial and visceral mobilization and an intensive 6 month functional nutrition certification course to implement nutritional considerations into pelvic health. Diagnoses include urinary or bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, postpartum or surgical-related pelvic pain and pain in the pelvis, vulva, hip, low back or tailbone. She has worked in pelvic floor specifically for 8 years now. Amanda is very passionate about building a strong relationship with her patients and treating each one individually, as she believes every person and diagnoses is different. Amanda works with her patients to create a treatment program tailored exactly to their needs and enjoys watching their quality of life improve.
