Andrea Wilk, OTD OTR/L Drayer Physical Therapy Institute
Hello! So nice to meet you! Let me tell you a little about myself...I am a graduate of Saint Francis University (SFU) where I received my BS in Psychology and Health Science with a Minor in Neuroscience followed by the Master of Occupational Therapy. Following my graduation from SFU, I went on to Thomas Jefferson University to receive my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. I am currently an adjunct at my alma mater of Saint Francis University with a focus on geriatrics, theory and research. I am a pelvic floor therapist who focuses on pelvic floor care of both male and female patients who suffer from urinary incontinence. My practice is holistic in nature and looks beyond the pelvic floor to treat the patient with a firm respect of his or her rehabilitative and personal goals. I am able to guide patients in improving their confidence to return to their activities without concern for urine loss, improve their sleep at night with less trips to the bathroom, limit low back pain that has resulted from pelvic floor dysfunction, improve pelvic organ prolapse outcomes and reduce pad usage. I love to educate my patients on every aspect of care to ensure that you understand the process each step of the [patient-guided] way. When you feel you are ready to come take the next step to regaining control please feel free to come see me!
