Andrea Wood, PT, DPT, WCS, PRPC

Andrea earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University. She currently practices outpatient pelvic floor physical therapy at the University of Miami Hospital on the downtown campus. She is a board certified women's health clinical specialist (WCS) with the American Physical Therapy Association and a certified pelvic rehabilitation practitioner (PRPC) with with Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has served as a teaching assistant for Herman and Wallace for their pelvic floor courses. Previously, Andrea has worked in both Boston and NYC in sports medicine and pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation. She has a passion for treating women through pregnancy and post- partum, men and women with pelvic pain, runners and higher level athletes, and helping people of all ages, genders and levels achieve their highest function possible.
