Annessa Kohlhart, PT, DPT Waldron's Peak Physical Therapy
Annessa works Waldron’s Peak Physical Therapy and Sirona Physical Therapy. Her passion is getting people back to what means the most to them. She believes everyone has their own unique story and needs a customized, quality plan of care to meet that story. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Colorado University at the Anschutz Medical Campus in 2017. She graduated cum laude from Colorado State University with a Bachelors of Science in Health and Exercise Sciences with a concentration in sports medicine and a Bachelors of Art with a focus in dance. She has been dancing since the age of three; has performed professionally in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Colorado; coached competitive dance teams; taught and choreographed various styles of dance; and received her Level One Pedagogical Training in the Vagonova Ballet Technique. She received her certification as a Functional Range Conditioning Specialist in 2018, and has received additional training in pelvic floor rehabilitation through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Health Rehabilitation Institute, clinical neurodynamics, vestibular rehabilitation, and more. She is experienced both in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, using dry and aquatic techniques on a variety of conditions including chronic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, dizziness, sports injuries, and more. As a Coloradoan, Annessa is passionate about mountain sports and other forms of movement, and brings this passion to her practice as a physical therapist. Outside of work you can find Annessa spending time with her family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. She loves to explore new movements and activities including archery, ax throwing, swing dance, and is always open to trying new things.
