I received my Bachelor's degree in Life Science at Kansas State University. I then went on to complete my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center. During PT school, I became very interested in pelvic floor physical therapy after having several guest lectures on the topic. I found it to be a fascinating part of physical therapy, and an area that could help so many people. During my last semester of PT school, I competed a clinical internship at a physical therapy practice specializing in the pelvic floor. Following graduation, I started practicing in Topeka, Kansas at Stormont Vail, where I see both orthopedic patients as well as pelvic health patients. I am continuing to further my knowledge in pelvic health by taking courses through Herman and Wallace.
