Dr. Yates practiced physical therapy in NYC for five and a half years and is now practicing in Boulder, CO as a partner practitioner at The Postpartum Wellness Center-Boulder. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Lipscomb, Carolyn was a D-1 athlete on the Cross-Country and Track teams and ran as captain of both teams her Junior and Senior years. Carolyn graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Belmont University also in Nashville, Tennessee. Treatment at Verity Physical Therapy & Wellness is a team effort: the patient, the referring doctor (if there is one), any personal trainers or exercise instructors that the patient sees and of course, me. Full communication with all involved parties is a priority for full recovery. Treating patients who have symptoms related to women's health issues is a passion of mine because I understand the huge impact these symptoms can have on women's lives every single day. All evaluations and treatments are done in private treatment rooms, and it is my number one priority to instill confidence and security in each and every one of my women's health patients. I have had extensive continuing education and training in pelvic floor physical therapy through Herman & Wallace: The Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
