Christina Dzieduszycki MSc PT, BA (Kin), Registered Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist Hons Kin, Professional Fitness Coach Christina Dzieduszycki obtained her Masters of Physiotherapy degree from McMaster University in 2013 after graduating from York University with 2 undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology and French. She has completed more than 10 post-graduate on-going education courses in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and is committed to pursuing a PhD in pelvic health. She treats women, men and children afflicted by the silent epidemic of pelvic floor dysfunctions. Some of the conditions she treats include; bladder leakage, painful sex, pelvic organ prolapse, erectile dysfunction, pregnancy and prostate related conditions, constipation disorders, bedwetting and so much more. She also has additional training in Acupuncture and regularly uses it as an adjunct to her treatment. Christina has over 19 years of passionate experience working as an exercise specialist and has provided rehabilitative exercise programs for people from all walks of life including military personnel, chronic pain sufferers, aging populations, spinal cord injured patients, stroke & breast cancer survivors, neurologically impaired patients, weekend warriors and professional athletes. Christina founded Knew Life Pelvic Healing in 2013 and Hamilton Pelvic Health Centre (HPHC) in 2015. She values the idea of providing interdisciplinary care as it encourages a unified and holistic approach to rehabilitation. She works closely with McMaster Children’s Hospital, collaborating with the pediatric psychologists, urologists, gastroenterologist, nurse practitioners and colorectal surgeons to address pelvic floor dysfunctions at the grass-root level. Christina also holds great regards for the Active Care approach utilized in her clinics. She has witnessed significant improvements in the quality of life of her patients by developing their body awareness through safe and effective exercise techniques. She believes that the exercise programs designed for her patients are not only to rehabilitate current injuries and/or conditions but more importantly to PREVENT future one from arising. Christina is always teaching her patients how to self-manage their pain/condition by providing them with tools that they can utilize as part of their independent home exercise programs. Christina is dedicated to increasing awareness and letting it be known that pelvic floor physiotherapy should be your first line of defence when faced with pelvic floor dysfunctions. Drugs and surgery are NOT your only options. She has been on “Ask the Expert” radio show and continues to advertise to over a quarter million homes across Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster and Burlington. Christina is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and Women’s Health Division.
