I am the owner and doctor of physical therapy at Core Active Physical Therapy. I have been a PT for nearly 15 years, earning my doctorate from The George Washington University in 2009. I realized my passion for pelvic health after having three children of my own, and experiencing the lack of support for moms during the pregnancy and postpartum periods. I have extensive training in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor conditions, and have a specialty certification in Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise (PCES). I started Core Active Physical Therapy to provide a place for women to get the relief they’ve been seeking, and empower them to live their best lives.
