CJ is originally from Glendale, AZ and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise and Wellness. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University, graduating with honors. During his time there he became a founding member for A.T. Still’s pro-bono clinic that offers therapy services to the underserved and underinsured communities in Mesa, AZ. That desire to serve those in underserved areas led CJ to establish his career in the White Mountains of Arizona. He currently works at Whiteriver Indian Hospital for his full time position, but also does weekly PRN work at Alpha and Omega Physical Therapy and Summit Regional Medical Center. CJ has a passion for building one-on-one relationships with his patients to determine the best course of care that allows them to return to normal function. In addition to orthopedic physical therapy, CJ has specialized training in the field of pelvic health physical therapy. CJ treats both male and female patients for conditions such as fecal or urinary incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, pelvic organ prolapse, bowel and bladder dysfunction, post hernia repair, treatment following pelvic cancers, post-surgical care following prostatectomy and TURP procedures, and hip and low back pain associated with childbirth or surgery. Outside of the clinic, he is an avid outdoors enthusiast. He enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, archery, and woodworking. He and his wife, Kristen, have been married for 13 years and have been blessed with two wonderful sons.
