Crissy graduated from Clemson University in 2007 with a degree in Preprofessional Health Science.  She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2011.  Crissy spent the first 10 years of her career working in an outpatient orthopedic setting treating a wide variety of conditions. During that time she perfected many manual therapy treatment skills including joint mobilization and manipulation, myofascial release, and trigger point dry needling. She has always had a passion for studying body mechanics, specifically in female athletes, and never expected to make a career change. However, after having her own personal experience as a patient of pelvic floor physical therapy she became instantly fascinated with the field and began to pursue a shift in her speciality. Crissy personally saw the vital role that the pelvic floor muscles play in the body and knew that she wanted to be able to help other women like herself.  Combining her orthopedic expertise with her newly discovered passion for pelvic health, Crissy went on to become a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. Whether your goal is to run a marathon, participate in a group fitness class, or simply play in the backyard with your kids/grandkids, Crissy will be just as passionate about your goal as you are and help you not only to achieve it, but exceed it! When not at work Crissy is usually spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She also loves working out, anything crafty, photography, and cheering for the Clemson Tigers!
