Dr. Cesare is a graduate of Columbia University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. She is passionate about women’s health and has recently published her obstetrics research on the reporting and prevalence of lumbopelvic pain during pregnancy in the Journal of Women's Health Physical Therapy. Dr. Cesare is especially passionate about treating pelvic floor dysfunction, sexual health conditions, and pregnant and postpartum patients. She has expanded and created inpatient postpartum programs at multiple hospitals in the Denver area, and hopes to grow this into a national standard of care. A long-term goal of hers is to elevate maternal healthcare standards and increase awareness of pelvic health physical therapy, both domestically and internationally. Dr. Cesare grew up balancing her interests in sports, art, and music. She was a competitive dancer and trained in French ballet for 14 years. She also competed in track and field, soccer, and collegiate downhill skiing. Her initial interest in athletics led her to become a group exercise instructor and track coach during college, and later a personal trainer, ski instructor, and ski team coach. Dr. Cesare combines her sports and coaching history with her passion for women’s and pelvic health to provide high-quality rehabilitation for people of all fitness levels. When Dr. Cesare is not in the clinic, you can find her training for a marathon, singing, painting, or baking. Dr. Cesare enjoys taking her dog, Truckee, on hikes and trail runs, and doing yoga with him on the end of her mat.
