I Hait Patel Licensed Physical Therapist with specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions. Through years of working in an outpatient setting, I became increasingly aware of how common pelvic floor conditions are—and how deeply they impact individuals of all ages and genders. I frequently met patients who avoided activities and exercises they once enjoyed due to concerns about “leaking” or feeling “pressure down there.” Many had been told these symptoms were common changes associated with aging, pregnancy, or postpartum—and felt they simply had to live with them. Witnessing this pattern made me realize how limited awareness is around pelvic floor dysfunctions and, more importantly, how treatable these conditions truly are.
