143 Ridgeway Dr. Ste 308 Lafayette, Louisiana 70503
Dr. LeFort completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2008 and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of St. Augustine in 2016 in Austin, Texas. During her studies she found the value and need for manual therapy. It has a vital role in improving one’s movement and muscle performance. She is passionate about improving patients' mobility and comfort in their own bodies. Changes occur after surgeries, giving birth, and with aging. Optimizing your ability to take care of yourself, enjoy your family, return to work, and just feel more like yourself is her drive to provide one-on-one care in a calm and safe environment. She opened Magnolia Movement, specializing in women's pelvic health and oncology rehab to provide quality physical therapy care to the South Louisiana community. Dr. Heather was born and raised in Acadiana. She and her family moved to McKinney, Texas after completing her DPT program. She practiced there for 5 years in an outpatient hospital based clinic, assisted a home health agency for 2 years, and joined with a small private practice for a year. She and her family have recently moved back home to be closer to family and friends and provide the Acadiana area with the physical therapy care it deserves. Heather and her husband spend their off time wrangling their two young daughters. They love watching movies and being outdoors by the water.
