Heather Swain PT, DPT, CIDN, CPT
Ally Total Physical Therapy
Dr. Heather Swain obtained a B.S in Exercise Science from Easter Michigan University in 2013 and completed a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Toledo in 2016. After graduation she moved to Phoenix Arizona where she worked full time in outpatient private practice, and part time in home health. She developed specialty interests in complex chronic pain, TMJ problems, migraines, and POTS. In 2020 she began studying and treating pelvic health to provide more holistic care to her chronic pain patients. Heather has experience working with a variety of female pelvic floor conditions including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, bowel problems, pregnancy related care, and pelvic pain. She has completed additional specialty coursework in sexual medicine, female infertility care, visceral mobilization for gastrointestinal problems, and dry needling. She provides services in English and Spanish. In 2022 Heather opened her own practice to provide pelvic PT services in the Toledo area. In an effort to provide trauma informed care, she offers concierge services to help patients with a history of trauma in medical offices to have access to pelvic healthcare in the comfort of their own homes.
