Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religion Earlham College, 2003 Massage Therapy Certification National Institute of Massage Therapy, 2006 Doctorate in Physical Therapy University of Maryland, 2018 Hope began her career as a massage therapist in 2006 specializing in prenatal massage, myofascial deep tissue and Craniosacral. Currently she has has completed courses through Herman and Wallace for treating pelvic floor dysfunction in men and women (including stress urinary incontinence, urge urinary incontinence, prolapse, constipation, interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, dyspareunia, vaginismus, vulvodynia) and is pursuing advanced trainings in pelvic health and obstetric physical therapy. Since 2018 she has worked in outpatient physical therapy practices including Reston Hospital, Inova and George Washington University Hospital. She currently runs a private practice in Woodley Park, DC. She believes that empowering patients to new depths of understanding and compassion for their bodies is the key to lasting health. In her spare time, Hope enjoys cooking and eating adventurous foods, travelling, and art.
