Hyun attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Human Biology with a double major in Spanish. She then attended Florida International University in Miami, FL where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She began working as an acute care physical therapist then transitioned her career to the outpatient setting to continue learning and helping patients more diversely. A couple of years into her practice as an outpatient physical therapist, Hyun recognized a huge gap in both the medical and therapy community for pelvic floor dysfunction which sparked her interest to further explore pelvic rehabilitation. Hyun is certified in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT) and has successfully completed the PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification) through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
