She earned a medical degree from the Kharkov State Medical University in 1983. Later, she completed the Kharkov Medical Academy post-graduate education in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. She passed her fellowship residency from the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. She’s also worked in a number of hospitals and authored 20 scientific papers.
