Janette Kuhns, OTR/L
Spooner Ahwatukee
Janette Kuhns is a registered and licensed Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist in Phoenix, AZ. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sport Psychology from Western Washington University and a Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy from A. T. Still University of Health Sciences. She practices at Spooner Ahwatukee, and specializes in treating females with pelvic and vaginal pain, low back pain, abdominal pain, pain with intercourse, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, urinary frequency, and more. She is also passionate about pregnancy and postpartum rehab. As an OT, Janette values the mind, body, and spirit as a whole when it comes to the care of her patients. She puts her patient's values and goals first and aims to empower her patients on their journey to understand and care for their own health. Janette creates a safe space for her patients to relax, feel relief, and gain control of their pelvic concerns. She utilizes cupping, soft tissue massage, joint mobilization, and abdominal massage, among other skills to accompany a rehab plan that is best suited her each of her patient's individual needs.
