Jenna Sires received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Upon graduation, Jenna remained in Columbia where she was married and gained a variety of experience in the outpatient setting. She had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and diagnosis; including neurological, orthopedic, amputation, pediatric, and general debility. However, after just 1 year of working with patients, Jenna recognized the severity of pelvic symptoms impacting her patients’ quality of life. She began her coursework to become a pelvic floor physical therapist in 2011 and has not looked back. She has chosen to specialize in the care of men, women and children experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. She is passionate about spreading education to the community on all things related to pelvic health. Jenna is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling, has presented at SCAPTA on numerous occasions, and has had the opportunity to teach at the university level to further educate physical therapy students on a comprehensive approach to evaluating and treating lumbosacral, pelvic, and hip dysfunctions. In her free time, you can find her with husband, three beautiful children, and adorable dogs.
