Jennifer Cammack PT, DPT
Return to Movement Physical Therapy
I have a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from BYU-Idaho and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (2016). Since earning my DPT I have continued to grow and learn in order to follow my passion of treating the whole person. To me, this means understanding how each physiologic body system influences one another and interacts with the mental, emotional, and energetic states of a person. I have worked in AND been a patient in physical therapy (PT) clinics that are driven by health insurance companies. The whole-person model doesn't fit well there. This is why I have been working in cash-based clinics since 2017. This allows me to have 1 on 1 appointments with a patient that last a full hour. I am able to hear your whole story and build a relationship with you. Along with following my passion and taking courses based on my patients' needs, I have been on my own healing journey (which is continuous). This has helped me understand what it feels like to have chronic pain, physical limitations, and emotional/energetic blockages. After having my first child in 2021, I was a patient in pelvic health PT for the first time. It opened my eyes to how integral this system is with the rest of the body. I soon realized that if I wanted to call myself a "whole-person physical therapist" I needed to be trained in pelvic health. I started that training in 2022. I am qualified to treat pelvic issues related to pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, urinary leakage, weak/intermittent urine stream, fecal leakage, constipation, etc. If you want to know if my style of physical therapy is a good fit for you, please text or call (385) 275-5689.
