I am an experienced, compassionate, evidence-based, board certified specialist in pelvic health placing patients at the heart of my care philosophy. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience and a commitment to ongoing education, I bring a refreshing, trauma-informed, inclusive and practical perspective to the field of physical therapy for West Philadelphia. I completed my undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University, earned my doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis, certified by the Postural Restoration Institute, and designated as a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association. I chose to specialize in pelvic health as an intersection between interest in the complexity of pelvic function and a commitment to restoring harmony in both individuals and societies. My clinical practice focus addresses complex pelvic and pelvic girdle pain, incontinence, prolapse, prenatal and postpartum issues, constipation, abdominal pain, post-operative pelvic surgeries, and facilitating a safe return to physical activity or performance. I use both evidence-based and innovative techniques to address the overall well-being of my patients, aiding them in achieving their health goals. I collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and optimal care.
