Julia Chadwick, PT, DPT, PRPC
Alta Bates Summit Outpatient Rehab and Pelvic PT Department

Julia earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland in 2009. Since that time she has used her skills in evaluation, manual therapy, exercise prescription and nutrition to help women and men achieve their physical and functional goals. For the last 10+ years, Julia has trained extensively and taken coursework in the field of pelvic physical therapy. Since 2012, she has specialized in working with women who have pelvic floor dysfunction to regain urinary and fecal continence, eliminate pelvic pain, regain enjoyment of sex, resume their daily activities and meet their fitness goals. Common conditions treated include urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, painful bladder syndrome, urinary urgency and frequency, chronic constipation, diastasis recti, pelvic pain, vaginismus, vulvodynia, pain during pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation. Julia became certified in pelvic rehabilitation via the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in 2020. It has been Julia's sincere joy to bring her empathy, skills and holistic wellness practice to the women of the East Bay and beyond. Julia is currently available to see patients in Oakland.
