Kate Weed, PT, DPT
Internal Locus Pelvic Health PT
Dr. Kate Weed received her BA in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and her Master of Science in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Delaware. While in training for her degree, Kate got the opportunity to work with patients struggling with pelvic floor issues and knew early on that these were the people she wanted to dedicate her career to helping. Since then, Kate has helped her patients overcome pain with sex, urinary leaking, bowel issues, and a host of other problems. Whether it’s helping people return to exercise after giving birth, get back to function after pelvic surgery (like prostate or colon removal), or recover from sexual dysfunction, Kate takes pride in providing a safe and welcoming space for all patients, regardless of gender or background. Kate is working towards board certification in pelvic health and welcomes all new patients. Why pelvic PT at home? Seeing a physical therapist for issues stemming from your pelvic floor can be hard enough as it is without having to go to a clinic. At Internal Locus, Kate aims to bring the best techniques to you, whether you're healing from an injury, surgery, childbirth, or trauma. By removing the barrier of having to travel to a clinic, Internal Locus keeps your health in your control. Because you deserve better.
