Board Certified Women's Health Specialist in Pregnancy, Postpartum, Female Pelvic Health Katie Coleman is a doctor of physical therapy and has been practicing pelvic health physical therapy for 14 years. She is a board-certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and earned certificates of Achievement in Pelvic Health and Obstetric Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Coleman has 18 years of experience as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition, she has additional specialty training in manual therapies of Gynecological Visceral Manipulation, the Maitland Approach, and is certified as an Integrative Dry Needling Specialist. Dr. Coleman is also a Pilates instructor and enjoys incorporating the philosophy of Pilates into clients' treatment strategies. ​Dr. Coleman graduated from Capital University with a degree in Exercise Science in 2005, and she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University in 2008. Cincy Magazine named Dr. Coleman “Readers’ Choice for Best Doctor” in the field of physical medicine in 2022. She enjoys helping women through all of life's stages but especially enjoys working with women who are pregnant, postpartum, and women who suffer from pelvic pain due to endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. As a mother of two young children, Dr. Coleman believes that women must take care of themselves in order to be able to care for others. Dr. Coleman also has extensive experience treating men with pelvic health conditions .
