Lisa is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 11 years of clinical experience across diverse settings including ICU, head and neck trauma, and complex rehabilitation. For the past 5 years, she has focused her career on pelvic health, where she combines deep clinical knowledge with personal empathy and holistic care. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University, followed by a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She is passionate about treating individuals with chronic pelvic pain disorders, drawing from advanced training in pelvic floor therapy with a focus on pregnancy, postpartum, and persistent pain conditions. Lisa’s passion for pelvic health began after her own journey with endometriosis, pelvic pain and dysfunction, and the birth of her daughter. As both a clinician and a patient, she understands the challenges of chronic pain and is committed to helping her patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journey. She holds a certification in Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International and brings a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to her practice. Her broad background in Occupational Therapy has equipped her with creative strategies and a strong foundation in self-care and functional recovery. Lisa is also 1 of only 3 Certified KickPink Practitioners in Texas trained to help breast cancer survivors prevent and manage side effects of treatment, including early-stage lymphedema. Lisa holds a certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). MLD is a specialized, gentle technique designed to stimulate the natural flow of lymph fluid, reducing swelling and promoting waste removal. Unlike deep tissue massage, it uses light, rhythmic, skin-stretching strokes to move fluid from congested areas toward functioning lymph nodes. MLD is safe and beneficial for pregnancy, postpartum, pre/post surgery, and oncology patients. A proud Texan, Lisa lives in North Texas with her husband, Justin, and their three children.
