Maria completed her Bachelor's in Science in Exercise Science and Master's in Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University. She has been specializing in out-patient orthopedic therapy for over 17 years. She become a Sports Certified Specialist in 2006 and a Certified Manual Therapist from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 2010. Maria is completing her Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation course work with Herman and Wallace and greatly enjoys treating this patient population, in addition to her experience working with orthopedic and sports patients. She strives to individualize treatments for her patients, focusing on the source of pain/dysfunction, rather than the location of the pain. Maria loves to challenge her patients with creative, function, and dynamic programs. She is extremely passionate about health and wellness, and enjoys sharing that passion with her patients. In her spare time, Maria is an avid road cyclist and participates in triathlons.
