In 2014, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology from the University of Washington. In 2016, I moved to Long Island, NY to attend New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019 and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honors Society and was the winner of the New York Physical Therapy Association's Student Participation Award and NYIT's Physical Therapy Research Award. I completed an internship in Chicago, while in school, where I had the opportunity to study under a Women's Health Physical Therapist. I quickly realized how inspired I was working with women experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. I work with women throughout their pregnancy, women experiencing urinary incontinence, and pelvic pain. After graduating from PT school in 2019 I worked in Chicago at an outpatient physical therapy office followed by the Women's Health department at Northwestern. In the spring of 2021 I moved to Kansas and I now work in Lee's Summit, MO at Empower Your Pelvis. I treat both men and women in the Kansas City Metro area. I have completed the Pelvic Floor Level 1 course, Pregnancy rehabilitation, and Pudendal Neuralgia, Bowel Pathology and Function through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and I have completed 2A (Pelvic Pain) and 2B (Bowel Dysfunction), and Male Pelvic Health. I am also a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
